I heard about the Brixham Sea Works from Brixham Chamber of Commerce. It’s a perfect base for me, with a great location which means I can nip out easily to meetings. I do work from home as well but much prefer the buzz and camaraderie of this well-designed shared office space. It helps to see familiar faces and talk about business and see what people are doing.Gary Jolliffe - Blue Chip Holidays
The workhubs provide a very affordable professional working environment and are ideal for home workers who don't want the commitment of taking on an office but still want to have a business address. It's great having somewhere where I can meet other working people and have a support network.Katina Read - Splash Publicity
It's great to go into a workspace and perhaps share a coffee with others, to be able to interact with others. It's nice to be able to go to a place where others are working as well. The workhubs are great for people to come out of the home and work in a place with other people and perhaps collaborate on projects together.John Curran - Designed For Learning
I am extremely excited to be a part of the Brixham workhub. It's a great space for local people who normally work from home to have a space to work, connect and collaborate. I know that it's going to do great things for the town and I am excited to see it grow.James Brooks - Brooks Creative
The workhubs are a good opportunity for people to get together and bounce ideas off each other and provide great potential for people looking for this kind of workspace. The workhubs provide a great space for people looking to get out of working from home - not only does having a business address look more professional but it also gives them somewhere to meet clients. As nice as it can be working from home, it does have its limitations and distractions.Martin Smith - Fruition Design
I am delighted to have purchased the Easy Works package at the Harbour Works which entitles me to 5 days' office space a month and includes a range of support and facilities. I am also looking forward to regular access to relevant training and networking within the premises. Away from domestic distractions, I have already begun to sort out my finances, carry out some course work and progress my thinking about the way forward for my business, all since January 6th. The beautiful views, lovely furniture, excellent coffee and hot chocolate are a welcome bonus.June Ross - Freelance
'I can wholeheartedly recommend the Harbour Works Torquay as a conducive, creative and flexible working space. Beautifully situated overlooking the Marina in Torquay, the staff provide a warm and professional welcome, ensuring all business needs are met.As an occasional visitor to Torbay for work, I particularly valued the flexibility of the different membership packages and am only sorry I'm not down more often, as the opportunities provided by Harbour Works for networking looked very attractive and a very good way to meet other business people.'Claire Maxwell, Co-director - Oasis School of Human Relations
Great Support and a Great Welcoming Environment to Kick Start Your
Starting a business is always a daunting task but I have to say
that the whole process has been made so much easier since I began
to attend the Jelly meetings and networking events offered by both
Brixham Sea Works and The Harbour Works. The staff are always
really knowledable, encoraging and friendly and the working
environment is superb, being modern light, bright and airy. It
really is the perfect place to network, grab some advice and
generally be in a business friendly setting. If you are looking to
start or grow a business then these two places are a must!
